Oakland Skyline

This was one of the first projects that I worked on with Indian Rock Landscapes as a design partner, and a very satisfying one.  The setting of the house, a bit lower than the street, with planting beds sweeping along the driveway ,  presented an interesting canvas for showing off bold textured plants.  And the wind-blown, rocky soil on this Oakland skyline ridge dictated a plant selection that included Mediterranean/Southern Hemisphere plants that would survive and thrive.
