Claremont Modern

Indian Rock Landscapes invited me to collaborate on a new design for a garden in the elegant Claremont area of Berkeley, where the climate is mild and sunny, and a happy home for most plants from Bougainvillea to succulents.   This was essentially a lawn-to -garden transformation, where we re-formed the planting borders in natural shapes that embraced a new dining space and a separate lounging area. We relocated an existing fountain as a melodious focal point.
